Reverse 911 is a community policing system that places telephone calls to households in a specific geographic area to inform citizens of crime in their area, provide emergency information, or request assistance.
The system is used by the Sheriff's Office for incidents in unincorporated DuPage County and is also available for use by all municipal police and fire agencies.
